John Kerry swept three states this weekend, many voters in Detroit - where nearly 90 percent of the city?s population is Black - and in surrounding Dearborn, Flint and Ypsilanti encountered problems when they went to their polling districts. The mix-up occurred when their regular caucus sites were closed at the last minute and voters were redirected to new sites.
Personal note: When Craig voted he said there was a woman there who had been to three places and still wasn't at the correct place. Considering voter turnout has been at all-time highs in perhaps every state except Michigan, which incidently reached the second highest of it's history, I'm inclined to believe that many voters were disenfranchised after attempting two or three locations.
